If you’re into video production, there’s a really good chance that you like watching movies. We watch them as often as we can – even the films that we aren’t so sure that we’ll like – because it’s important to know what’s out there, who’s doing what, and how they’re doing it. We believe that the best filmmakers are relentless students of their work.
Since the cost of movie tickets can add up after a while, we decided to do a little research and find out which theaters in the Seattle area have the cheapest movie ticket prices. Check out the table below to see how your favorite theater stacks up!
Aside from price, don’t forget to take the experience into consideration. Sound quality, screen size, and the overall ambiance can completely change your viewing experience. Also, some bargain theaters don’t get new releases right away, and other cinemas focus exclusively on older films and independent films. We’re not saying that’s a bad thing, it just depends on what you’re looking for at the time!
Keep in mind that some areas require paid parking, and theaters can change their ticket prices at any time. The prices below are the regular, adult ticket prices as of March 2017. Many theaters also have special, discount viewing days and matinee prices. If I was able to find them, those are included! Feel free to send us an email if you have additional info or updates.

Being in the business of video production means that we absolutely must stay on top of (actually ahead of!) industry trends. But that really applies to any industry if you’re aiming to be the best at what you do.
Many of the updates around the web lately have been focused on the sheer amount of effort companies are putting into video production now that even the late adopters are realizing how important it is to incorporate video into their marketing plans. Some companies, like Zillow, have started turning as many of their blog posts as possible into videos.
Here are a few of the latest video production topics that caught our eye:
You might not know the name DSLR, but you’ve inevitably either have or have seen one of these cameras. They are everywhere. DSLR (digital single-lens reflex) is a digital camera that blew up both consumer and professional markets over the last 10 years. Originally, these were strict photography cameras. But in 2009, […]
Over the past few years, we’ve noticed a trend of commercial video production becoming more and more story focused. Brands are telling personal stories instead of just advertising products, and now they’re taking it a step further.
